The 32LH20 from LG is an entry-level 32-inch LCD television with excellent picture controls and some added bonuses. While its picture may not be the best in its class in some aspects, it is a solid overall choice for first time LCD buyers. The LG 32LH20 is available for around $450, depending on where you shop.

The LG 32LH20 is a 720p HDTV with a resolution of 1,366x768. Although its 720p status may not be as sexy as that of a 1080p set, at the 32-inch size you really cannot tell too much of a difference between the two classifications. As far as the picture produced, you do get solid color accuracy with the 32LH20. The only real negative to its picture performance comes in the way of its black levels, which are not the darkest among its competition, so if you like watching movies with the lights off and are picky about the deepness of black levels you may find yourself a bit disappointed. Sound-wise, the 32LH20 produces a great audio experience thanks to its hidden speaker system, which emits sound in all directions, meaning those sitting right in front of the television will not be the only ones able to hear it.
